We benefit greatly from having volunteers working in our school.
Our volunteers include work experience students, parents, community members and governors. Some volunteer regularly, some come to us for a placement, others help out at one-off events. We have volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. Volunteers help with visits; lead activities for pupils; hear children read; run after-school clubs and help with site maintenance. We value our volunteers greatly: we know they are making a great contribution to children’s learning and hope that they enjoy working and learning in our school.
Anyone volunteering at school has to have a DBS check and has to be prepared to act in accordance with our code of conduct.
We would love to hear from you if you would like to volunteer on a one-off or regular basis here. Please phone or e-mail the school office (01363 772256 or admin@sandford-school.devon.sch.uk)
